Jamie Morford - Owner
Jamie started at CWIA in 1997 and came into ownership in 2017. He is a life long Selah resident and is involved in several community organizations. Jamie and his wife, Stephanie, have three children they are very proud of. His hobbies include golf, skiing, and family time.
Mark Malland - Commercial & Personal Lines
Mark Malland has been a Yakima Valley resident since 1976. His career in insurance started in 1982 as a file clerk and then claims adjuster. In 1986 he became an agent/ broker specializing in commercial insurance and also helping individuals and families fulfill their insurance needs. Mark and his wife Kim raised two daughters and are now the proud grandparents of two boys that they are with as much as possible.
Shane Suhadolnik – Commercial Lines
Shane started with CWIA in 2001. His commitment to the community is exemplified by his volunteer work with the Selah Fire Department. Shane likes to spend his spare time outdoors and traveling to the West Side to visit family.
Michelle Hesselgesser - Accounting
Michelle has been keeping our books in line since 2020. She is a college graduate from BYU-Hawaii and moved to Selah in 2019 with her husband T.J. They have two young kids and they love being a part of the Selah Community. Michelle likes to travel, run, and mountain climb in her spare time.
Chase Powell - Personal & Commercial Lines
Chase has been with CWIA since 2009 and is a graduate from University of Portland. Chase loves the challenge of finding the right coverages for his clients. He is married to Meggie and has three young kids. He enjoys golfing and chasing the kids around.
Chad Lakey– Personal & Commercial Lines
Chad started his career with CWIA in 2000. Chad’s roots are deep within the Selah Community as he graduated from Selah High and currently has two teenage kids going through the Selah School District. He is married to Angie and likes to spend time golfing and hanging out with friends.

Rod rejoined CWIA in 2010. He has been an insurance agent in the Valley since 1993 and is a graduate from YVC. He is married and has two adult children. Rod likes to golf and travel is his down time.
Mary Holbrook - Personal & Commercial Lines
Mary joined our team in 2017, however she has been in the insurance world since 1995. Mary is a graduate of Washington State University. In her time off she enjoys golfing and spending as much time as she can with her 3 grandkids.
Yasmin Leija – Personal Lines
Yasmin started with CWIA in 2017 and her vibrant personality is a great asset for agency. She is bilingual and always ready to help when customers call in. In her spare time she likes to go on hikes and long drives with her fiancé Luis.
Mark Peck - Commercial Lines
Mark has been with CWIA since 1999. He is a graduate of Central Washington University. Mark does specialize in commercial lines, but he is able to help our clients out with any of the insurance needs. He spends his summers golfing and fishing and his winters skiing.
Josh Ice - Commercial Lines
Josh started at CWIA in 2005. He now has 16 years of commercial lines experience and is our agency’s expert in insurance certificates. Josh is married to Amy and in his spare time likes to do anything related to the outdoors.
